When considering which session to attend be aware that most sessions will address more than one strand so be sure to look at the full descriptions.

Cookies and Conversations on Thursday are designed to give attendees the opportunity to network with others who have similar job responsibilities. You may choose any of the sessions to attend, so if you are more interested in learning from a different group, you are welcome.

Kansas Volunteer Commission

About me

Jessica Dorsey is the Executive Director of the Kansas Volunteer Commission. In this role, she oversees Commission programming related to AmeriCorps, mentoring, volunteering and civic engagement. Jessica has a Doctorate Degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies, a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She and her husband Bo live in Osage City, KS with their blended family of seven children. Jessica serves on the Osage City Parks and Recreation advisory council as well as America’s Service Commissions national board of directors. She enjoys coaching her son’s soccer team and volunteering in her community.
