When considering which session to attend be aware that most sessions will address more than one strand so be sure to look at the full descriptions.

Cookies and Conversations on Thursday are designed to give attendees the opportunity to network with others who have similar job responsibilities. You may choose any of the sessions to attend, so if you are more interested in learning from a different group, you are welcome.

About me

Dr. Henderson is an assistant clinical professor in the school counseling program at Wichita State University. She just completed a 28 year span in Pk-12 education serving as classroom teacher, instructional coach, staff developer and school counselor. Dr. Henderson's research interests include trauma informed school counseling as well as the response to lowered self efficacy in teachers post pandemic. Dr. Henderson also spends time mentoring new school counselors as well as delivering high quality and impactful professional development through her consulting business, Henderson Educational Consulting, LLC.
