About me
I am a teaching assistant professor in the department of computer science at Kansas State University. I teach a variety of computer science classes at the post-secondary level, but I am heavily involved with CS at the K-12 level. I participate in and run multiple outreach programs for computer science throughout the year. My primary research focus includes teaching computational thinking to bring computer science to students in a variety of subjects and contexts. I have also been involved in writing the new Kansas computer science model standards and their new implementation guide.
